This policy explains how the BugChute free trial, cancellation, and refunds work. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at US$8/month and your payment method (processed via Stripe) will be charged at the end of the trial, then monthly thereafter until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to the Service through the end of the period you've already paid for, and your subscription will not renew afterward. There's no separate "deactivation" step required beyond cancelling.
Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@bugchute.com and we'll look into it.
Lifetime purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee: email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. After 14 days, lifetime purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, nothing in this policy limits any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation you have under applicable consumer-protection law (such as the EU/UK rules on distance contracts and the standard 14-day withdrawal period for digital services). Those rights are expressly preserved and apply in addition to, and take precedence over, the general refund terms above. Where you have validly exercised such a right, we will provide a refund as required by law.
