These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BugChute (the "Service"), a Chrome extension and backend service provided by My Novelty Labs LLC ("My Novelty Labs LLC," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.
BugChute lets you capture bug reports — screenshots, screen recordings, annotations, and page diagnostics such as console and network activity — and file them into an issue tracker you connect (GitHub or Linear). See our Privacy Policy for details on how report content is handled.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You are solely responsible for the content you capture and submit through the Service — including screenshots, recordings, annotations, and any information contained in them — and for having the right to capture and share that content. You retain ownership of your content; you grant us only the limited rights necessary to relay it to your connected tracker as you direct.
The Service integrates with third-party issue trackers you choose to connect. Your use of those trackers is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or content of third-party trackers.
My Novelty Labs LLC retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the BugChute name, software, and branding. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service as intended.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE NOT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY NOVELTY LABS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, including the acceptable-use provisions in Section 4.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (such as by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
